What Is VerizonUp?
VerizonUp is a rewards program for all Verizon Wireless customers. This program makes you eligible for awesome rewards when you do simple things like paying your monthly bill. The more money you spend with Verizon, the more credits you get. The more credits you accumulate, the more rewards you can claim.
Upon enrollment, you'll receive one credit for every $300 spent at Verizon on devices and services on monthly bills. One credit will get you one reward, and the amount of money can be accumulated over time.
What Type Of Rewards Can I Get?
VerizonUp breaks down its rewards into four categories:
- Earned rewards
- Bonus rewards
- Local offers
- Super Tickets
Earned rewards offers six new rewards every month to choose from, with each reward costing one VerizonUp credit. These rewards could be money towards your next device or a discount on certain accessories.
Bonus rewards are discounts and perks available for VerizonUp members at anytime. These do not include any rewards that you earn, and no credits are required to redeem them.
Local offers are available daily in the VerizonUp app for members. No credits are required to access these rewards either. A local offer could save you up to 50% at restaurant or small business in your area!
Super Tickets gives all VerizonUp members the opportunity to earn tickets to concerts, shows, and sporting events for only one credit. Each Super Ticket event has a ticket availability countdown. When the countdown reaches zero, you can claim the tickets like other rewards on a first-come, first-serve basis.
How Do I Sign Up For VerizonUp?
If you’re a Verizon customer on a standard monthly plan and are at least 18 years old, you are eligible for VerizonUp. Simply log into the My Verizon app, tap Verizon Up in the navigation menu, and follow the instructions to enroll! It's free to join, too.
Do Other Wireless Carriers Have Rewards Programs?
Yes, the other three major wireless carriers have their own rewards programs.
AT&T offers customers rewards through the Reward Center. As part of this program, AT&T will send you a Visa card with a preloaded balance. You can use this card to pay for whatever you'd like, including your AT&T bill. Unlike VerizonUp, a completely digital rewards program, AT&T will mail the Visa card directly to you.
T-Mobile doesn’t offer quite the wide-ranging rewards program that AT&T and Verizon do, but it does have a promotion called T-Mobile Tuesdays. The program is a customer appreciation system that offers all T-Mobile subscribers access to perks, prizes, and experiences by downloading the T-Mobile Tuesday app on their iPhone on Android.
